Draft for owner/legal review

Supplier portal privacy notice

This page explains the intended data handling for the supplier qualification portal. The final controller identity, contact details, retention period and legal wording must be approved before production launch.

Why information is collected

Information submitted through this portal is used to assess possible supplier cooperation relating to captive-bred aquarium fish. Submissions are private and are not published as listings.

Information collected

We collect the contact, species, availability, logistics and media information that you choose to provide, together with consent records and technical source information such as UTM parameters.

Private funnel analytics

We use first-party, privacy-limited analytics to understand page views, application starts, completed form steps, submissions and qualification outcomes. A random session identifier is kept in session storage for the current browser session. We do not use fingerprinting and do not store full IP addresses, User-Agent strings or screen characteristics. Referrer URLs are reduced to their origin, without paths or query parameters.

Retention

The technical default is 730 days. The business owner must approve the final retention period. Data should be removed or anonymised when it is no longer required.

Who can access it

Access is intended for authorised Plecoceramics personnel and contracted infrastructure providers where necessary to operate the portal.

Export or removal request

Contact the company through the contact details published on plecoceramics.com and include your application reference. Deleting an application also removes its linked analytics session and funnel events. The final dedicated privacy contact must be confirmed before launch.

Your confirmation

The form records the version and time of each required confirmation. Submission does not create a purchase obligation or partnership.
